[pct-l] Water

Hello all,

This is a water update from Geringer Grade to Kelso Valley Rd.

Please info Mr. Asbat.

Here are our water observations for this past Saturday 5-10-08


602.2    Robin Bird Spring: Good flow ~ 2 liters a min from black pipe.  Cow 
trough next to access road was empty. Walk past trough and located gate to 
gain access into fenced area and black pipe.

604.4	Cottonwood Creek branch (log bridge gone) Flowing 4-5 ft wide with 
logs to cross water.

607.3	Landers Creek flowing very well.

Water is readily available with the PCT crossing water many times and steams 
running beside trail between Robin Bird Springs and the 1st crossing of 
Piute Mountain rd.

I did not check the water source indicated by a sign on the pct before you 
reach the 2nd crossing of Piute mtn rd.

There was no other water beyond this until you reach the cache at Kelso 
Valley Rd.

616.0	Kelso Valley Road Cache.  I would guess this had ~ 50 gallons when we 
past it at 5pm Sat 5-10-08
