I think we should add the following to the New Pledge:

''AND  THE  UNALIENABLE  RIGHT  TO  EXIST,
  FOR  ALL  OUR  WILD  CRITTERS,  LARGE  OR  SMALL''

and make it a requirement for all hikers seeking a permit, to take that 
pledge.
