[pct-l] A Question re: Snow Canyon and Camping

Been reading a number of journals this year and it appears that a fair number of thru-hikers have been making camp near the fountain at Snow Creek.  When I went through in 2006 I recall that camping here was not allowed and I was wondering if this has changed?  This would be a great location to camp given the proximity to water following the long descent from Fuller Ridge.

Is this area now open to legal camping?
