>There's the actual legal easements that have to be created, and at least 35
miles of new trails to cut, new trailheads that need to be designed and
constructed and the like.  It's probably a few years out, but the end of the
dreaded Mojave road walk is in sight.  It's a banner day for the PCT!!!

Aside from that, I expect PCTA volunteers to descend upon this opportunity like a pack of rabid wolves.  Who wants to take bets on how soon that'll start happening?
