[pct-l] Tejon Ranch PCT Flyer

To put this in perspective, it wasn't just "some conservation easements."
It's the granddaddy of conversation easements, likened by the Sierra Club to
the "ecological equivalent of the Louisiana Purchase."  It's an
unprecedented dedication of private lands for public purpose.  The
percentage that is be developed is 10% (30,000 acres), compared to 90%
(240,000 acres) that is being conserved, and will be open for appropriate
public use, including the long due relocation of the PCT off the Mojave
floor to the cool mountains above.

I just saw an article announcing a new deal with the owners of the property.

They got the green light to build hundreds of new houses in exchange for
some land/conservation easements.
