Louise I will also be hiking that section soon (Olancha to Trail Pass) likely Memorial Day week. I saw some photos of Trail Pass and Horse Meadow here, the other day and although there was some snow on the peaks, the meadow looked quite passable. The altitude of Olancha is a bit less than Trail Pass, so I would think that it will soon be passable. Amanda
