Wow! I just got back in from hiking Walker Pass to Canebrake Rd. What a great hike this was. The wind was blowing in the mountain tops and passes and the sun was shining down below. Nights were in the 40's, Needles Spring was running fine and there was no snow to speak of. The feeling of being away from it all, well that was just outstanding. Shepherd
