[pct-l] The other Kennedy Meadows

Regarding the Kennedy Meadows up north (near Emigrant Wilderness). Yes, they did have a fire last fall, but the local community held fund-raising events and they are rebuilding. The following is from their website updated 2/3/2008.
    
"* ALL RESERVATIONS WERE LOST!!!
      YOU MUST CALL US AS SOON AS POSSIBLE TO CONFIRM YOUR RESERVATION -- (209) 965-3900
    * Be aware that there will be major construction happening until at LEAST July.
    * We hope to have a temporary store open by Memorial Day weekend with BASIC provisions
    * The restaurant will not be open until the new lodge is ready"

So, by the time thru-hikers get there, they may find some facilities going.
