Callahan's? - (Are they still accepting hiker packages?)

Callahan's is still rebuilding from a fire that resulted in having been burned to the ground about 2 yrs. ago. I would want to hear from someone who is really "in the know" before making specific plans. 

I noticed you did not list Castella; between Burney Falls and Callahan's (the end of section O and the beginning of section P). There is a post office there, along with a store  and receive all packages. Like so many folks along the trail, they enjoy having the hikers come through. Depending upon your dietary restrictions Castella may be very limited on your choice of food.

Finally, if you chose, like so many of the hikers, to get a hitch into Etna from Etna Summit (end of section P) you'll find their post office to also be very hiker friendly.Etna will have a wider range of food that would hopefully work for you.
