[pct-l] full size DSLR for the entire PCT?

I'm all but certainthat PCT hiker Bearcant carried his Nikon D70 on his 2005 thru.  Check his site http://www.bearcant.org/ and maybe trade emails with him.  Not sure what all he took along (lenses, charger, etc) but I imagine he'd be willing to share his experience.

Bottom line, it can and has been done.
