[pct-l] technu and poison oak

Technu works like a charm. Have used it in poison oak capital Big Sur for years, and it works wonderfully. Use it when you get into camp or even sooner. Water is an optional ingredient in the treatment. It smells like soap, though.  

When I hiked California in 2002, I didn't see any along the entire trail, though. It has a ceiling of about 5000 feet.
