?
FYI: Last year or the year before I discovered a super large oak tree on the PCT.? Probably the largest on the whole PCT.? It is in a car camping area just as you near, going NoBo, the highway on the infamous Warner Springs Loop (the loop with the mutant saber tooth mountain lions) of the PCT.? It is at site #22 in this camping park and right on the PCT.

?

As is my right as discoverer, I named it after a man who dedicated much of his life to the formation of the PCT.? I remember years ago getting newsletters from him about the PCT.

?

I just wanted to remind everyone to notice this tree if you do the loop on your journey NoBo.? My naming of this tree is supported by Yogi and many other prominent PCT supporters.

?

Thank you for your attention in this matter.

?

Respectfully, Switchback the Trail Pirate
