[pct-l] Kickoff & Warner Springs Resort Dinner

I dunno, Sly ... seems like the Warner Springs folks aren't obliged  
to do anything nice at all, and my experience has been that they are  
really pretty darn nice to hikers ... not sure I want to see anyone  
in the PCT community go suggesting to them that they're NOT DOING  
ENOUGH.  Isn't that just applying the "hiker entitlement" mentality  
to trail angels, etc.?  None of whom are even asking for anything?    
I hope no one does "ask management" to extend their courtesy to any  
one else. I think it would be discourteous.  That's not to say I  
don't appreciate the kindness inherent in your thinking ... maybe we  
hikers ourselves, in a great spasm of gratitude and generosity, might  
like take up a collection to do something nice for trail angels,  
trail crew, etc.  Why should we ask outsiders to do nicey nice for  
trail angels, etc., when it's us hikers who benefit from their  
efforts.   2L
