[pct-l] $2.50 mac-n-cheese?

After reading a thread on whiteblaze, I figured I'd make this post.  Can
food really be this ridiculously (to an easterner) priced?  I figured you'd
pay high prices at the resort stops, but how about in towns?  If prices are
consistently 3x the cost of items out here, it may pay off to do mail
drops.  I had planned on doing half mail drops, and half resupplies in
towns.  I'm trying to keep the cost of my thru around $3,000, so food costs
are important.
