The Plumas National forest web site has June 24 closure maps.

There is also a closure area 3 boundary on the East side of the Quincy - La Porte Road, NE of
 mile 1235.

http://www.fs.fed.us/r5/plumas/forest_orders/index.php#0408

Miles 1255 to 1265.4 of the PCT appear to be near the border of the closure area 1.

Hikers may wish to map out an alternative route from middle fork of the Feather River at mile 1251.5 and getting to Quincy another way.

June 27, Hwy 70 is closed from SW of Plugas through Belden to Hwy 89. anyways.

Check fire conditions, CUB complex, and Canyon complex, and at Plumas NF web site and or

The PCT closed from Bear Creek (mile 1255) to Big Creek Rd (1265.4) and
Buck's Summit (1270.2) to Belden (1289.3) because of fires. The Forest
Service has posted signs at the Quicy-Laporte Rd (1235.6) that the trail is
not closed for another 20 miles to Bear Creek, but since that's the last
road to hitch out on, it might as well be closed from there. This was the
morning of the 26th.

If the trail is still closed from Belden to Hwy 36, that means closure of an
effectively contiguous section from Quincy-Laporte Rd to Hwy 36, 100 miles.

Thought you'd like to know,
Claire
