[pct-l] JMT in August

I recently called to reserve a permit for a hike out of Horseshoe Meadow. The gentleman told me that that area is not covered by the reservation system, and that we would have no trouble getting our permits out of the Inyo Visitors Center. Day use does not require a permit, only overnight use -- and there are no quotas at that trailhead and everyone gets a permit. Yippee!!!
