Read the report - only a few hours old...  Look at the maps and photos...

Yes, it is (has been) on top of the PCT - but now mostly burning North away from the PCT...
Until the last couple of days, there had been very little "crowning" in the mostly sparse tree cover...
The PCT is still open, but hikers are "highly discouraged to hike in the area after dark."
It really isn't a very "dangerous" fire due to the sparse fuel cover and it is being managed as a "Wildland Fire-use" since was lightning caused, not man caused as first thought May 31st / June 1st...
