[pct-l] trip idea request

This year I have to do my monthlong section hike in July because of
other plans in August. I'm reading all these posts about trees being
down and thinking, Hmmm, maybe we could help.
Here's what we have:
2 people with chain saw certification and experience working section C
for the last four years
5 llamas to carry all the tools and swag for a month
The month of July to hike
12 years experience doing month long hikes

Here's what we want:
a place to hike the PCT where you can legally do trail work with a chain
saw (non-Wilderness area)
Little-no snow on the ground
Bugs not too horrible
a section that needs chain saw work done
Preferably in California
Adequate water supply--so the llamas can get a drink every day
Not too hot (days in the 80's are nice)

So anyone have any ideas where we could hike the PCT for a month (July)
and cut all the deadfall we find along the way?

After checking your ideas my next step would be to contact the section
crew chief and run it past him.

Marion
