[pct-l] Bridge of the Gods to Road 60

 to let you know -

PCT free of snow and bugs on the above mentioned stretch. Soon after Road 60the bugs begin eating you up (it seems, they just LOVED Deet) and snow patches appeared. Met Mike Unger (PCT 06) and Naomi. They turned around because of the bugs as well. 

Called several ranger stations- still lots of snow in North Oregon. In Section H (Cascade Locks to White Pass) lots of snow Indian Heaven Wilderness and Rock Goats.

Go to Stablers ! Highly recommended. It is not even 1 mile down Windy Road. Hot coffee, hot chocolat, cakes and some other treats, very hikerfriendly owner, bench to sit outsite. No fee for your box.
