[pct-l] Boy's first hike

Hello all,

I am planning to take my son, age 14, on his first backpacking trip next
week.  We will be travelling with 4 other seasoned hikers.  The plan is to
hike from Sonora Pass to Ebbetts Pass in 4 days.

Questions: Is this route too difficult for a rookie backpacker? Is there any
fishing along the route? Are there any recommended side trips for day
hiking?
