[pct-l] cellphone

hello everybody,

Im planning to hike the pct this year, and Im thinking to take cellular
phone for two reasons:

1. Im not from the u.s. and it will be a good way to communicate with my
family and girlfriend (and maybe cheaper).
2. In case of emergency...

Is there a signal from the trail? from towns along the trail for sure. but
what about from the trail itself?
