Like Sly says, "Don't feed the hikers".

Want to destroy a perfectly good hiker/human? Provide all manner of things
to him/her.

It's ironic when people speak of the close knit group of hikers past. All
they had was each other, the trail and their wits (and a whole lotta years
to perfect their image of greatness). Todays hikers have these 'old hands'
to provide for them with water caches, food, rides, places to stay and on
and on and on...

When is the ADZPCTKO, again?

Of course it's for the hikers own good. You don't dare give hikers the same
trail you had, heavens no! Hell, they won't let us have it! We have no say
in it. "You'll take what we give you and like it. Period."

So if you gripe about the entitlement of hikers and feel slighted, abused or
unappreciated, take a good long hard look at who is directly responsible for
this behavior. You.
