[pct-l] Desert Temperature

Good afternoon, All,

Those of you that believe deserts are hot, should note that this morning in Burns, OR the temperature was -11 F.  Burns is in the middle of the state about half way between the Cascades and the Idaho border.  That isn't an unusual temperature for winter in the high desert.
