Please, please, please carry a bear can. It’s not for you, it’s to save the
bears from being shot because they get habituated to taking food from

is there any up to date info on this subject, is it an "absolute must or
get fined ", any "07" hikers out there that didn't carry one? i'm not
looking forward to buying / carrying one, but if i have to "dodge" rangers
because i don't have one i'll buy one. if you did carry one what kind was
it?
