Here's an easy way to check the accuracy of any little scale you use to
weigh your gear.
Use your scale to weigh stuff just weighed and purchased at the supermarket
such as produce. Most of the store scales are tested for accuracy by a
state agency so they should be accurate. If the weight on your scale comes
real close then you will know that your scale is accurate. Of course try
items of different weights if you can.
