Lightning Rod writes: At a basic level,  approximately 500 thru permits are 
issued, and 300 or so get to Agua  Dulce.  There have been approximately 80-100 
 finishers.

Switchback writes: That  is what I always thought about the PCT.  About 20% 
or less finish going  NoBo.  I seem to remember that only 50% leave Kennedy 
Meadows heading north  into the Sierras.
