I quit keeping tallies in 2004, but still have the registers so the numbers
could be derived (keeping in mind that not everyone signs the register). I
would truly welcome independent analysis of the information!

I think you said about 300 hikers passed through for the whole season,
please correct me if I'm wrong. More than 20% came through in one day?
Wow. Some wilderness experience. What day was that?
Do you have the number of daily arrivals for, say, 2 weeks on either
side of that date? Maybe people could plan not to be there at the
peak.
