[pct-l] special gear for town days

Many people bring something different to put on in towns, but if you 
mail clothes ahead there are potential timing issues.

Will you get to town before the P.O. closes? Will you really want to 
wait until the P.O. opens to mail those things back out, especially 
if you arrive on a Saturday?
