[pct-l] alternate timing of a section hike

Hello ~

I've never hiked the PCT, but I've finally got the time (and a few
nickles) to do so!  Next year, I've got from Jan - June free, and
while I know those months won't work for a through-hike, I was
wondering if it's possible to do a section-hike in S. CA starting any
earlier than March.  If so, how far north would I get before hitting
snow?  Any input would be appreciated!
