[pct-l] Walker Pass

It is quite possible.

I did that a few years ago. Just stay overnight at the Walker Pass campground and/or start early in the morning. Day one is easy as all of the day's up-hill is gentle and on the very front of the hike. Your first water is 11.5 miles north at Joshua Tree Spring. The spur trail is on the left, and the spring is below and out of sight from the trail. There's a nice, flat shaded camping area there too. Day two is all uphill and water can be scarce.

  OK Folks,
How insane would it be to start a walk at Walker Pass in August? Expect to exit at Kearsarge.
  Splat!
