If you want to know whether or not it will be a high snow year or not,I suggest the "Detour" factor.Whenever I decide to do a thru hike,its always a high snow year.Having been through the 06 snow year,I know how it can be.So,you need to find out when I will be thru hiking and chances are it won't be a dry year.'08 here I come!
