Here is a thought.  I spend a lot of time and mental energy determining the gain/loss in elevation between landmarks in the data book.  Yes, the elevation is marked, but I have to do the subtraction or addition to know just how much climbing or descending I will be doing.  It sure would be nice if this was already done for me.
