Switchback replies: I seem to remember something about a bug stuck in some one's ear.  I wonder who's ear that could be?

I had to carry that bug for more than 100 miles, then wait overnight for the Old Faithful Clinic to open. I wonder ...how many mile-grams did that bug hitch hike?
