I am going to be doing a short section hike this April from Warner Springs to where the PCT crosses CA Highway 74 just East of Anza, CA. Does anyone know, or have experience as to whether it is safe to leave a vehicle for 3 nights at the parking lot where the trail crosses Highway 74? Any past problems with break-ins or vandalism?
