Of course it is heavy (just over one pound) compared to a lot of other
backpacking stove/pot combinations. I just got one with my gift certificates to
see what it was all about.

This is the most amazing stove I have ever used. It is unbelievable how
fast it boils water with so little fuel. I would say at sea level at 65
degrees, it boiled half of a liter of water well under 3 minutes. And I am talking
about a roaring boil. This was on the just over simmer setting --- in other
words, a very low fuel use setting. I then put the water in food pouch to
cook for 8 minutes and had a great backpacker supper.

So, I thought I would try popcorn in the 1.5 liter pot. I have to
experiment some more, but it is fantastic how much popcorn the pot holds. I am going
to get it just right, so all the kernels pop with just the right amount of
oil. This is so cool. The hot oil started to pop the popcorn almost
immediately as I poured in some corn - fantastic. Again, it was on simmer setting.

I will probably be the first person in the world to do get the right popcorn
equation for the Reactor and will get much fame and accolades. Sort of like
a Unified Field Theory of Reactor popcorn. Cool.
