The snow is finally starting to fly. As of yesterday snow is well below 
average this time of year all along the trail:

Also interesting are the plummeting temperatures all along the trail, as in 
20+ degrees below normal and it will probably be worse tonight and tomorrow. 
Rainy Pass was 27 degrees below normal yesterday (!):
