[pct-l] Excuse me sir.

I think someone else mentioned illegal aliens (though I prefer the term
"long-term visitors from another country" -- that'll get 'em started).

Hiking fast or setting records seems to disturb folks a great deal, so maybe
"HYOH as long as you do it like me" should be included on the "heated
topics" list.

Of course, there's another topic that has given me personally major fits
regarding everyone staring at freaking once due to a certain event, but I've
sworn off posting about it (mostly).

L-Roid (misspelling intended)

You can ask whatever you like. There will be no riot.

The FAQ discussion is an effort to put all the most commonly asked
questions in one heap.

Common questions:
When should I start.
What books/maps do I need.
Where/how do I resupply
Northbound or Southbound.
What sort of gear do I need.
Desert Travel
Snow Travel
Ice Axe/Crampons
Footwear
Trail Safety.
Permits

Here are the topics that often start a "heated" thread.
Guns
Dogs
Horses
Cell Phones
Bear Cans (not so much any more....)

What did I forget?
