They are shooting for Snoqualmie on Aug. 10 and the border the evening of Aug. 18 or the morning
of Aug.19.
That would take better than 8 days off Joe's 2007 record.
Amazing what drive and determination to push your body to the the limit can do.
This will be great cause for celebration and Tortoise & JoAnn should be there along with other
members of the backpacker community to greet & congratulate them.
Remember, they will need a ride to Seattle...would be nice if they could get a ride.

Yo Reinhold,

How's it going, my friend?  At this pace, how are Scott and Joe doing in 
regards to breaking the record?  Will they beat it by hours, days?
