[pct-l] SPOT

The Spot sure is a polarizing little device! I just broke down and got
one...basically as a toy and a peace of mind for my family, not as a life
saving device. I'm doing the JMT starting next week, and will be carrying
one in tracking mode, secured to the top of my pack to test it out. If it
works well enough, I'll bring it on the PCT next year.. If anyone is
interested in seeing whether it (and I guess me as well!) can withstand the
JMT in real time, e-mail me for the share link.
