We have been following a group who is carrying the SPOT and there have been
times it has not showed their location. Most of the time it seems to track
them correctly. You may be right about the heavy leaf cover. We did loose
the guys for 3-4 days but then they appeared again. I don't know much more
than that except we've been following the boys since they left Skykomish.
Except for the one 3 day MIA it seems to be working pretty good. They are
getting close to the Bend, Or. area.
