The last is not strictly PCT; it's my daughter
enjoying
the end of the wildflowers near Gorman, about five
miles west of the true Pacific Crest and twenty miles
west of the current PCT.

Unfortunately, by the time the through hikers come
through, the flowers are all gone at this elevation.
