We employ the lick and rinse dishwashing method, too. I carry a pot scraper 
that is a "your name here credit card" from a mail offer. It scrapes the pot

where I can't lick. The scraper also spreads peanut butter or double as a 
spoon when I bend it slightly. I guess if I were the ultrc lightest hiker I 
could use my Kaiser card or CA driver's license.

We did hear "Good lord...you cain't lick your bowl here" when we were on the

AT. :D

I don't think drinking the water is gross, but it's pretty
flavorless. Needs tea or something.

I plan to bring a tiny bit of liquid soap in a small bottle I got
from the vet for oral meds for my bird. The primary need for it I can
see is once in a while washing my undies and my rear end. I don't
plan to drink the water afterwards, however.
