KM General Store is run by great people. A word re: the resupply box pickup fee. In 2006 it was $2.00 per box regardless of size. I know of some folks that decided to ship multiple small boxes rather than a single larger box and were upset when they discovered the fee was per box. Frankly, I think the owners could charge a lot more and are doing a huge service to thru-hikers. It is amazing to see the number of boxes they receive during the thru-hike season. I would have been happy to pay a lot more for my box that I shipped up there.
