[pct-l] Gloves and sun protection

I've sometimes worn loose-fitting cotton gloves (cheap-o ones for gardening). They offer sun protection and my hands don't sweat in them. Because the air in some sections is often low in moisture and my hands are naturally dry anyway, I sometimes put on lotion first. If they don't work for you, the minimal investment means you haven't lost much.
Be sure whatever sunscreen you use is protective against both UV-B and UV-A. During my last visit, my dermatologist recommended Neutrogena with helioplex (this is not a paid commercial!).
Happy PCT trails,
Susan Alcorn
