[pct-l] USPS traking information ???

I just tracked my first food drop via USPS and got the below message.
   
  We attempted to deliver your item at 11:59 AM on April 9, 2008 in MOUNT LAGUNA, CA 91948 and a notice was left. It can be redelivered or picked up at the Post Office. If the item is unclaimed, it will be returned to the sender. Information, if available, is updated every evening. Please check again later. 

   
  Is this a good or a bad thing? Any postal workers out there?
