I am trying to confirm whether or not I need any permits (other than fire, which I have) to hike from Hwy 18 (Big Bear) in Section C to Hwy 58 (Mojave/Tehachapi) at the end of Section E. I got rid of the beginning pages from the guidebook for Section C last year before having to give up at Hwy 18. Does anybody know? Thanks! Janet
