[pct-l] Route 74 Socal

I'm thinking about potential exit routes from the trail if we hit too much snow south of San Jacinto, and wonder what Route 74 is like between where the PCT crosses it and Idlywild.  Does it get a lot of traffic?  Will cell phones work there?  Appreciate the advice!
