It took him six weeks to be in hiking shape. Keep in mind though that he
was in his 40s at the time and is extremely fit. YMMV.

I have the same concern about the timing of the therapy. How long
after surgery was it before Jeff was back to pretty full activity. I
guess my real question is, "How long before I can hike?"
