[pct-l] water crossing

Well for what it's worth my hard and fast rule is "It depends"
The flow rate of the water is one important factor.
High speed ankle deep water could be dangerous
While slow moving neck deep water could be a refreshing walk in the park.
All crossings have their inherent risks and each situation needs to be
assessed, with your risk tolerance levels applied .
Boulder/Rock hopping with wet and/or muddy or sandy shoes, that's a
problem for me for sure. I'll generally just get my feet wet.
Really don't much care for logs especially if they are wet or there is a
big drop (exposure) or fast moving water.
One thing I always do is unbuckle my chest and waist straps.
