[pct-l] thruhiker pulled off trail to speak to mayor

Tim Gallagher who is now hiking the PCT has just been named to head the Seattle Parks system. He was actually
pulled off the trail to meet with Seattle mayor Greg Nickels.  Speaking as a Puget Sounder, It's nice to know 
that someone with PCT experience is in charge around here.  Unfortunately, his area of responsibility does not 
include the PCT itself so this probably won't bring repair of the PCT around Glacier Peak any closer.
